We are the only club in SA with more than one dedicated venue for RC Boating.
The club is setting up four chapters to cover the Greater Cape Town Area.
Each Chapter will have its own Member Committee, reporting to the Executive Members Committee.
These Chapters are:
Northern City
Servicing the Northern Suburbs at Sonstraal Dam and covers the area east of Jakes Gervel Drive (M7) up to the Helderberg district.
Eastern City
Servicing the Helderberg area west of the “pretty mountains” and includes Stellenbosch, Somerset-West, Strand and Gordons Bay as well as the towns outside the City of Cape Town Metro.
Southern City
Covering the area from Muizenberg to Simon’s Town. No water body have been identified yet, but we are investigating Zandvlei in Muizenberg.
Western City
Covering the area along the cost from Duinefontein through to Camps Bay and eastward up to Century City.
Application has been started to utilise the small pond in Green Point Park at the Water Wheel. More information will be made available soon.
